This post will show how I practiced incorporating quotes into a paragraph. The referenced quotes' sources can be found in my annotated bibliography. I used pg.540 of Rules for Writers and Purdue OWL as a guide.

Careful that the verbs you use in your signal phrases match tense. In the above example, "wrote" is past tense and "states" is present. They should all be in present tense if you're in MLA, they should all be in past tense if you're in APA.
